Trailfinders' Marie Kiely gives an insight into Catalonia Ronda Hotel
Catalonia Ronda Hotel Expert Review
Marie Kiely
Catalonia Ronda Hotel has a great location right in the centre of Ronda and overlooking the famous Bull Ring. It's only a minutes’ walk to the Puente Nuevo and it's also at the bottom of the main pedestrian street with shops and restaurants all close by.
It's a very stylish hotel with large rooms and even larger bathrooms. There's a great bar and restaurant onsite which is very popular so normally requires a reservation. The views from here are great, especially at sunset. There's a small rooftop pool and sunbathing area.
The hotel is also only about 15 minutes walk from the bus/train station.
Definitely spend at least two nights in Ronda as it is a great destination with quite a lot to see and do. Early mornings and late afternoons are great times to explore when most of the day trippers have left.
