the caribbean
The lush and rugged island of Grenada is known affectionately as the ‘Spice Island’ and is home to the charming capital of St George’s. St George’s is said to be one of the prettiest capitals of all the Caribbean islands with its pastel coloured Creole houses, red rooftops and winding streets nestled against a backdrop of green hills.
Along Grenada's beautiful coast lies a fringe of restful golden beaches, calm turquoise waters and teeming reefs which provide ample snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities. A visit to one of the age-old spice plantations growing nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon and ginger is also a must do on your Grenada holiday.
Trailfinders offers a range of Grenada holidays and our expert travel consultants are a mine of information about what to do here, often with first-hand travel experience. Whether you want to explore Grenada on a great value all inclusive holiday, a fun-filled family friendly holiday or an adults only retreat – they are the perfect people to ask.

Grenada Top Tips From Our Travel Experts

With an abundance of dive site suitable for both diving and snorkeling Grenada is the place to go for underwater exploration! The Underwater Sculpture Park is not to be missed, with a multitude of eerie yet beautiful sculptures to explore it is a truly unique experience.
Ross Harris
Grenada is my favourite island in the Caribbean so far! A quieter and unspoilt gem with genuinely friendly residents, great scenery and plenty to do. Hike to and/or swim in waterfalls, rainforest and crater lakes, Amerindian petroglyphs, monkeys (if you're lucky), rugged scenery and of course supremely awesome seafood.
Stephen Rome
Grenada is stunning; hilly and tropical with some gorgeous beaches and several stunning waterfalls in the interior. The underwater sculpture park offers a unique snorkelling experience. The capital, St.George's, is among the prettiest towns in the Caribbean, cascading down the hillside towards the harbour in an almost Mediterranean style.
