WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT AUSTRALIA?

The northern half of Australia enjoys a warm tropical climate, so the best time to visit is generally between April and November when the weather is dry and not too hot.

For the southern regions the months between November and May are ideal, however Sydney can get rather humid and busy in December.

If heading to Victoria, make sure you experience the breathtaking natural scenery that surrounds Melbourne. Think Mornington Peninsula for stunning valley views, gourmet food, wine hot spots and idyllic beaches.

Ben McSeoin - Australia expert

Uluru is without doubt the most pivotal Australian landmark. Now that climbing on it is forbidden, you can appreciate its red majestic beauty even more - there's nothing quite like watching it disappear into the darkness on a warm evening to the sound of nothing but silence.
