The best time to visit Finland varies by region. For Northern lights and snow in Northern Finland the best time to visit is December to April.

Long summer days run from late May to September and the midnight sun makes an appearance in June, so this is a great time to visit Helsinki and the Lakeland regions for a fly drive holiday
