Malaysia Top Tips From Our Travel Experts

Abbi Harris - Malaysia expert
Abbi Harris

While in Kuala Lumpur head up the famous 'Skybar' @ Traders hotel, great cocktails and the best views of the Petronas towers await you. Catch the sunset as the city lights begin their night shift.

Chris Brimble - Malaysia expert
Chris Brimble

Kuala Lumpur is a brilliant city which is like a mix between Bangkok and Singapore. Highly recommend the food markets in Bukit Bintang of an evening. Great atmosphere and over 50 restaurants boasting tasty authentic street food.

Stephen Pain - Malaysia expert
Stephen Pain

The metro system in Kuala Lumpur is super easy to navigate and a great way to get around. For those who like to explore independently and feel that they are likely to use it a lot, it can be a really good idea to stay in a hotel close to KL Central station as this connects onto every train line.
