Iceland holidays promise an unforgettable adventure, from thundering waterfalls to bubbling geysers and mesmeric glaciers; not to mention the chance to see the dancing colours of the Northern Lights.

Dramatic volcanic landscapes ranging from moss covered lava fields to towering mountain peaks and spectacular rugged coastlines, an Iceland holiday is like entering a different world. The capital Reykjavik offers the perfect introduction to the country, a small vibrant city within easy reach of some of the most spectacular geothermal wonders. Stay longer and travel out along the route 1 Ring Road to soak up the unique scenery, visiting charming fishing villages, dramatic glaciers, lava tunnels and take time to head off the beaten track and seek out Iceland's hidden treasures. From bathing in a hot spring river, to puffin spotting and horse riding on black sand beaches.

Trailfinders offers a range of Iceland holidays and our expert travel consultants are a mine of information about what to do here, often with first hand experience. Whether you want to enjoy one of our weekend city breaks with a Northern Lights tour or spend two weeks driving the breathtaking scenery of Iceland's Ring Road – they are the perfect people to ask.
