WHERE TO GO IN THE OSA PENINSULA & GOLFO DULCE

The Osa Peninsula is home to more than half of all wildlife species in the country, and boasts Corcovado National Park, considered by many the crown jewel in all of Costa Rica’s national parks. There are also numerous other parks and reverses in this area which offer equally impressive wildlife experiences.

The Golfo Dulce separates the Osa Peninsula from the mainland Costa Rica and boasts incredible biodiversity and some excellent eco-lodges. It is home to Parque Nacional Piedras Blancas, a stunning tract of rainforest that used to be part of the Corcovado National Park. It is now designated a separate park but still it connects with Corcovado to form a vital and ecologically diverse biological corridor. Dolphins can often be spotted in the waters around here.
