Barbados Holidays

the caribbean
Synonymous with blissful beaches, elegant hotels, acclaimed restaurants and lively nightlife, it's little wonder that Barbados holidays hold an enduring appeal.

Steeped in British culture but with a Caribbean twist, Barbados holidays provide both a familiar and foreign feel, as high tea and cricket mingle with rum and calypso beats.

Barbados holidays offer a location for everyone; the sheltered west coast is the perfect location for swimming and snorkelling whilst the breezy southern coast is superb for surfing and savouring the nightlife at St Lawrence Gap. For a different perspective, the secluded east coast offers a glimpse of a wild, yet beautiful area with windswept seas and spectacular vistas.

Trailfinders offers a range of Barbados holidays and our expert travel consultants are a mine of information about what to do here, often with first-hand travel experience. Whether you want to explore Barbados on a family friendly holiday, an all inclusive holiday or in a luxury Caribbean villa – they are the perfect people to ask.

On a Friday night head down to Oistins Fish Fry on the south coast for an authentic Bajan experience. Watch the sunset and then enjoy freshly barbecued fish, sample the local rum and join the party!

Swimming with sea turtles off the west coast of Barbados is an amazing experience, and it's possible to rent a snorkel and simply swim out from the beach. Ask a local for the best places to see them.

Rachael Croome - Barbados expert

We hired a Mini Moke for the day which was great fun to drive. We went to St Nicholas Abbey which has a rum distillery and a steam train (the only one on Barbados, it opened in March 2019). We also went to Harrison Caves which are well worth a visit.
