Cambodia Holidays

asia
Cambodia holidays reward visitors with truly memorable experiences; from awe-inspiring temples and colonial heritage to lush forested mountains and white sand beaches. Undoubtedly the main draw to Cambodia, if not all of South East Asia, is the spectacular Angkor Wat. Built between the 9th and 13th Centuries, hundreds of temples make up this impressive complex, with the enduring myths and striking architecture of this ancient city still enchanting travellers to this day.

Although these magnificent temples should not be missed, Cambodia holidays are about more than just Angkor and the country boasts a diverse range of attractions within its compact borders. With warm hospitable people, crumbling French colonial architecture and natural highlights that range from endless rice fields and beautiful waterways to lush jungles and tropical beaches, there is something to appeal to everyone on a Cambodia holiday.

Trailfinders offers a wide range of Cambodia holidays and we have a dedicated team of destination specialists who are mines of information about the country, often with first-hand travel experience. Whether you want to explore Cambodia on a private tour with an expert guide, on a sociable guided group tour, or are simply looking for the best place to stay on a luxury beach break – they are the perfect people to ask.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT CAMBODIA?

Cambodia has two main seasons, dry (October to April) and wet (May to September). From October to April the more remote areas of the country are easier to access and this is the ideal time to visit the coast. However the wet season does have its advantages, bringing with it lush, green countryside and less crowds. This is also an excellent time to visit the Angkor Temples and Tonle Sap Lake as water levels are at their highest.
