Although it'll be hard to drag yourself away from the stunning white sand beaches (some of the best I've ever experienced in all my travels), put aside an afternoon to explore the colourful capital city of Victoria, its friendly locals and its lively, bustling markets selling everything from fresh fish to local handicrafts.

If there's one thing you must do in the Seychelles it is to visit more than one of the islands. For the ultimate Robinson Crusoe experience head to Denis Private Island where you won't find a TV to distract you from the glorious beaches! Swim with turtles from the shore, taste the organic produce grown on their own farm and visit the giant tortoises in their sanctuary. Denis Private Island is barefoot luxury at it's best.
