Yas Island is perfect for families as everything is on your doorstep! The free shuttle travels between all hotels and the mall as well as attractions including Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld and the new Warner Bros. World.

If you feel the need to work off some of your holiday indulgences, head to the Yas Marina F1™ race track on Tuesday evenings. They open the track to runners, cyclists or leisurely strollers. It's free to join in but to avoid the queue, it's a good idea to register in advance online.

Abu Dhabi is a great stopover destination offering plenty of activities, amusement parks, beaches, shops and restaurants for the whole family. It's also not as built up as Dubai and cheaper when eating out and having drinks. If you're looking for a beach break Saadiyat Island is a great option. The sand is white and very soft and the sea great to swim in.
