The Philippines enjoys a tropical climate with warm temperatures year round.

The best time to visit the Philippines is between December and February when rainfall is minimal and temperatures are pleasant. March to May is also a good time to travel and falls in the Philippines dry season however, temperatures can be hotter and you can expect higher humidity.

Flight Time to Philippines: Flight times to the Philippines average at between 17 to 19 hours depending on the airline and route

Currency: Philippine Peso (PHP). ATM's are available in cities and larger towns, and some hotels and restaurants will accept credit/debit cards

Tipping: Tipping in the Philippines is customary but not obligatory. A 10% tip for service staff is usually sufficient

Language: Filipino is the national language of the Philippines, and English is widely spoken
