Trailfinders' Dave Hayeems gives an insight into Anantara Chiang Mai Resort
Anantara Chiang Mai Resort Expert Review
Dave Hayeems
The Anantara Chiang Mai feels like a true oasis just on the outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. Chiang Mai’s famous night bazaar is just a two minute walk from the hotel entrance which great for cheap high quality street food with some entertainment and a large market. The kids loved this area and it’s a great spot to pick up some bargains. The wide range of food available will satisfy anyone!
Rooms at the hotel are large with nice outdoor balconies overlooking the gardens or the river. Tropical fruit is delivered to the room daily which is a nice touch.
Top tip: sit in the outdoor area for breakfast - there are some tables right on the river which are perfect.
