Built around a 125 year old traditional teakwood residence, this stunning boutique property has been lovingly restored to its 19th Century glory. The 30 unique suites each take their name from the founders of the Borneo Trading Company who were based here. Each suite features a unique spin on the property’s colonial past, with striking high ceilings, luxurious four poster beds, extravagant Victorian or sunken bath tubs and both indoor and outdoor showers. All benefit from tiled balconies or verandas built around the tropical gardens and finely manicured lawns, nostalgic of a bygone era. Thailand’s gastronomic delights are celebrated at the farm-to-kitchen restaurant Palette, while High Tea on the lawn is an experience not to be missed. To top it all the striking lap pool boasts a vast wall of greenery making this unique property an island of luxurious calm in the peaceful Wat Gate area of the city.
