Lemala Ndutu Tented Camp

This mobile tented camp offers an authentic bush camp experience in the Ndutu region of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area near the border of the Southern Serengeti. The 9 tents are perched on the edge of a permanent marsh amongst classic savannah, and are in one of the finest locations in Ndutu to see the migration, and the high concentration of predators that follows it, between December and March. Tens of thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle usually arrive in December to graze on the newly-watered, highly-nutritious short grass plains, and then by February, the main calving season takes place. The camp’s mess tent features separate lounge and dining areas, beautifully decorated with leather sofas, chandeliers and a bar. In the evening guests can gather around the campfire to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapés while sharing safari stories. Tents are comfortably furnished with a safari-style shower that will be filled with hot water ready for after your afternoon game drive (no fan or air-con). Charging facilities are available in the main lounge. This property is unfenced so animals may be seen around the camp and you may be escorted to your tent at night.
