Lemala Mara Tented Camp

This mobile tented camp offers an authentic bush camp experience in the northern Serengeti, in a prime location to enjoy the spectacle of the magnificent wildebeest migration. The 12 tents are set up under large Euclea trees very close to the Mara River, but yet far enough away to remain discreet and not interrupt wildlife behaviour as the wildebeest mass along the steep banks on their way north to the Masai Mara. Resident wildlife numbers are always high, but nothing compared to the dramatic scenes during the migration. The camp’s mess tent features separate lounge and dining areas, beautifully decorated with leather sofas, chandeliers and a bar. In the evening guests can gather around the campfire to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapés while sharing safari stories. Tents are comfortably furnished with a safari-style shower that will be filled with hot water ready for after your afternoon game drive (no fan or air-con). Charging facilities are available in the main lounge. This property is unfenced so animals may be seen around the camp and you may be escorted to your tent at night.
