Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp

Located in south central Serengeti, this superb camp is well placed for Big 5 game viewing and boasts sweeping views of the Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and the endless Serengeti plains. The colonial interiors reflect the style of the mobile camps of the 1930s and capture the original essence of the African safari experience. Activities available include game drives and hot air balloon safaris (at extra cost; must be pre-booked). Relax by the pool between game drives or soak up the spectacular views from the open-sided thatched lounge tent before dinner under canvas in the dining tent. The 12 Luxury Tents are comfortable and spacious with campaign-style furnishings, a seating area and a terrace (no fan or air-conditioning). A 2 bedroom family tent is also available. This property is unfenced so animals may come into camp and you may be escorted to your tent at night.
