Itinerary
Days 1-2 Houston
Modern, vibrant Houston boasts a fascinating Museum Quarter, world-class restaurants and the nearby NASA Space Center.
Day 3 Houston to Galveston
Head south to Galveston Island. This port town is home to a lovely historic district with Victorian style buildings. Enjoy the seaside ambience of this barrier island on the Gulf Coast.
Day 4 Galveston to San Antonio
Journey inland towards beautiful Spanish influenced San Antonio.
Day 5 San Antonio
At the heart of this city is the San Antonio Riverwalk. Lined with bars and restaurants it’s the perfect spot for a margarita and some authentic Mexican food. Discover the story of Davy Crockett at the Alamo and explore the city’s other historic missions.
Day 6 San Antonio to Fredericksburg
Find a change of pace in the quaint town of Fredericksburg, renowned for its local wineries.
Day 7 Fredericksburg
Browse the charming boutiques that line Fredericksburg’s Germanic main street, join a wine tasting tour or pay a visit to mystical Enchanted Rock, offering scenic hiking trails by day and excellent stargazing at night. In the evening, learn to two-step with the locals at Luckenbach Dancehall.
Day 8 Fredericksburg to Austin
Wind your way through rural Texas until you reach Austin, the live music capital of the world!
Day 9 Austin
Boasting 200 live music venues and 300 days of sunshine per year, the state capital is a relaxed, cosmopolitan and friendly city. Colourful Sixth Street is where you’ll find the hub of music venues and nightlife.
Day 10 Austin to Wildcatter Ranch
Journey north through lush, green hills towards the small town of Graham for a stay at the beautiful 4★ Wildcatter Ranch.
Days 11-12 Wildcatter Ranch
Enjoy this welcoming Texan guest ranch, where cowboy dreams don’t mean a lack of creature comforts! Enjoy horseback trail rides and hikes through Texas Hill Country followed by a soothing dip in the pool.
Day 13 Wildcatter Ranch to Dallas
Drive to Dallas, passing picturesque towns on the way.
Days 14-15 Dallas
The ‘Big D’ will impress with its dazzling skyline. Famous as the home of the Dallas Cowboys American Football team, it’s also where you’ll find the USA’s largest Arts District. Just north of the city is Southfork Ranch where you can pay homage to the iconic TV show, Dallas.
