Itinerary

Days 1-3 Portland            
Discover this creative city’s boutiques and markets and sample craft beer from some of Portland’s 75 local breweries. Explore Pioneer Square, the world’s largest bookstore and the variety of food carts on a tour of city.            

Day 4 Portland to Astoria  
Pick up your car and head north west to the port city of Astoria, home to charming Victorian homes, impressive forts and numerous craft breweries. Learn about the city’s shipping history at the renowned Columbia River Maritime Museum.            
Day 5 Astoria to Gleneden Beach            
Travel south past magnificent coastline to the scenic setting of Gleneden Beach. En route stop for ice cream at the Tillamook Cheese Factory and visit the beautiful coastal city of Cannon Beach to photograph the iconic Haystack Rock.            
Day 6 Gleneden Beach          
Relax on the lovely, sandy beach or unwind at your resort with a yoga class, spa treatment or round of golf.  

Day 7 Gleneden Beach to Florence    
This charming seaside town is a great base for exploring nearby Sea Lion Cave and the spectacular wind-sculpted waves of sand that form Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.      

Day 8 Florence to Ashland  
Head to cultural Ashland, home to several theatres and festivals, including a renowned Shakespeare Festival that runs for nine months of the year.

Day 9 Ashland to Sunriver  
Route via remarkable Crater Lake; where Rim Drive* offers incredible views down the caldera to the azure waters below.  

Day 10 Sunriver            
A base camp for adventure, there are plenty of recreational activities on offer in this resort town. Hop over to the nearby town of Bend, an outdoor hub with an urban twist, or the small Western-themed town of Sisters.  

Day 11 Sunriver to Hood River    
Head north past the sheer cliffs of Smith Rock State Park to the cool river town of Hood River, a great base to visit the stunning Columbia River Gorge and local wineries.

Day 12 Hood River to Portland            
Hike, bike or kayak your way through the canyon, passing mighty mountains and hidden waterfalls as you go including magnificent Multnomah Falls, before heading back to Portland for your flight home.
