Itinerary
Days 1-2 Seattle
Seattle is an urban playground surrounded by natural beauty. After relaxing on your first evening, the next day get your bearings and visit landmarks such as historic Pioneer Square and the iconic Space Needle for spectacular views of the city and surrounds. Join a food tour of renowned Pike Place Market to try tasty local delicacies.
Day 3 Mount Rainier NP
Take a full day trip out of the city to visit stunning Mount Rainier National Park. Enjoy guided hikes with an experienced naturalist guide taking in cascading waterfalls and dramatic mountain scenery. Your tour ends back in Seattle early evening, so it’s time to explore the city’s vibrant restaurant and bar scene.
Day 4 Seattle
Start your final day in the city with a well-deserved coffee break. Seattle is home to the first ever Starbucks, as well as a huge variety of independent coffee shops and cafés. This afternoon, visit one of the city’s museums or take a stroll along the waterfront.
Day 5 Seattle to Victoria
Departing from Seattle’s waterfront, the Victoria Clipper is a high-speed catamaran that cuts through the scenic waters of the Puget Sound and the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Victoria in just under three hours. Upon arrival in this charming Canadian city, explore the scenic Inner Harbour.
Days 6-7 Victoria
On your first day in Victoria, discover the city’s rich narrative and see key city sights on a guided tour. After exploring the attractive downtown area, you’ll also visit the celebrated Butchart Gardens, one of the most famous show gardens in the world and home to incredible displays of flowers and plants. The next day you could take an exciting whale watching tour or relax with traditional high tea at the renowned Fairmont Empress hotel. Later, visit one of the more bohemian neighbourhoods like Fremont, well known for its quirky public art.
Day 8 Victoria to Vancouver
Board a floatplane in Victoria’s Inner Harbour for an exciting scenic flight over the Gulf Islands to cosmopolitan Vancouver. Enjoy spectacular coastal views on the 40 minute flight, landing in Vancouver’s waterfront. From there it’s easy to walk or catch a quick taxi to your downtown hotel.
Days 9-11 Vancouver
Vancouver is brimming with fantastic attractions and has a population passionate about their city and the surrounding outdoor paradise. Sample the plethora of superb restaurants, buzzing bars and great shops. Take a city tour, explore Stanley Park and uncover the city’s diverse neighbourhoods. Journey just 20 minutes north of the city to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge and catch the Skyride to the top of Grouse Mountain where panoramic vistas of the city, sea and surrounding mountains unfold.
Day 12 Vancouver
After a final morning in this lively city, travel to the airport for your flight home.
