Itinerary
Day 1 Phoenix/Scottsdale
Meet your fellow travellers and Travel Director at your hotel in Scottsdale and enjoy a welcome dinner.
Day 2 Scottsdale to Grand Canyon NP
Travel to Grand Canyon National Park via bohemian Sedona and through Oak Creek Canyon, one of Arizona’s finest drives. On arrival, opt to take a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon and enjoy a talk from a local expert about the geology and history of this area.
Day 3 Grand Canyon NP to Lake Powell
Head to the Cameron Trading Post to get an understanding of Native American art. Enjoy stunning views as you travel through the colourful Painted Desert to iconic Monument Valley, home to a colourful array of mesas and buttes. Board an all-terrain vehicle to explore the valley with a Navajo local guide before arriving at the calm waters of Lake Powell.
Day 4 Lake Powell
Relax and enjoy the surroundings at your comfortable resort or choose to partake in an optional experience.
Day 5 Lake Powell to Zion NP
This morning travel via Bryce Canyon, home to naturally carved amphitheatres, gravity defying stone bridges and balanced rocks before continuing onwards to Zion National Park.
Days 6-7 Zion NP to Salt Lake City
Explore the dramatic cliffs and canyons of Zion National Park, opt for a guided hike to the Emerald Pools or visit the Zion Human History Museum. Your tour will conclude with a transfer to Salt Lake City on day 7.
