Itinerary

Day 1 Pittsburgh      
Arrive in Steel City; Pittsburgh has shaken off its industrial past of steel forges and factories and is now a thriving hub of culture, sports and the arts.    

Days 2-3 Pittsburgh  
Set between three diverging rivers, handsome Pittsburgh has over 400 bridges, plentiful green parks and towering skyscrapers. Visit the fantastic Andy Warhol Museum, catch the Steelers or Pirates play in one of the city’s impressive sports stadiums and ride the historic funicular railway for sensational views of the city skyline.    

Day 4 Pittsburgh to Gettysburg      
Pick up your car and drive through Pennsylvania’s rolling countryside to Gettysburg and discover its crucial role in the American Civil War by taking a tour of the battlefield. an Amish family-style dinner at a local restaurant which has been serving authentic Pennsylvania Dutch meals since 1969.    

Day 5 Gettysburg to Lancaster      
Carry on to Lancaster in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.    

Day 6 Amish Country      
Escape the modern world with a visit to The Amish Village. Learn about centuries old traditions and discover how the local community go about their unconventional day-to-day life.    

Day 7 Lancaster to Philadelphia    
Continue on to Philadelphia and drop off your car. The city is home of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, the birthplace of the US Constitution.    

Days 8-10 Philadelphia      
The City of Brotherly Love is one of the most historic and interesting cities in the US. Explore the cobbled streets of the Old City, wander through Franklin Square and visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Don’t forget to sample a famed Philly cheesesteak and excellent local beer! Additional Options: Why not end your trip with a few nights in NYC or Washington DC, both are just a 1½hr train ride from Philadelphia.
