Itinerary
Days 1-3 Boston
Discover the rich past and vibrant present of one of America’s oldest cities.
Day 4 Boston to Jackson
Head to Jackson, this delightful village is home to the Honeymoon covered bridge and makes a great base for exploring the stunning White Mountains.
Day 5 White Mountains
Drive the Kancamagus Highway, a favourite with ‘leaf-peepers’ for its spectacular scenery ablaze with multi-coloured leaves.
Day 6 Jackson to Whitefield
Continue north, perhaps stopping at Mount Washington to ride the Cog Railway.
Day 7 Whitefield
Admire the splendid mountain views from your relaxing historic resort.
Day 8 Whitefield to Stowe
Cross into Vermont to the lovely village of Stowe in the Green Mountains.
Day 9 Stowe
Stowe offers New England mountain charm and a picture-perfect white church with a lofty steeple. The surrounding countryside is dotted with farms and their picturesque red barns.
Day 10 Stowe to Woodstock
Travel southwards to elegant Woodstock.
Day 11 Woodstock
Enjoy this graceful village which boasts upscale galleries and a pastoral setting with covered bridges: a classic New England vista.
Day 12 Woodstock to Stockbridge
A tapestry of gold and red foliage greets you as you drive through Green Mountain National Forest en route to Stockbridge, a quaint village full of antique shops and charm.
Day 13 The Berkshires
Explore the rolling landscape of the Berkshire Hills. As well as its scenic setting the region is renowned as the cultural heart of New England.
Day 14 Stockbridge to Boston
Return to Boston for your flight home.
