Itinerary
Day 1 Boston
Arrive into Boston and transfer to your downtown hotel. Later meet your tour director for a welcome dinner.
Day 2 Boston
Your tour director will provide you with a fascinating insight into 'Beantown' during a historical sightseeing tour. Then tour the famous red-brick Freedom Trail that brings the tales of the American Revolution to life.
Day 3 Boston to Sandwich
Visit the first pilgrim settlement of Plymouth and meet a direct descendant of the Mayflower party that first landed on America's shores. Later, discover more plights of the early settlers at Plimouth Plantation before continuing on to Sandwich. Upon arrival, watch master glassmakers at the Glass Museum.
Day 4 Sandwich
Experience the oldest town of Cape Cod today. Meet a park ranger at Salt Pond to learn of the natural wonder and human history represented on the cape. The afternoon is free so perhaps visit the Sand Dunes or embark on a whale watching cruise.
Day 5 Sandwich to Martha’s Vineyard
Board your ferry to Martha's Vineyard, the delightful island tucked against the New England coast, home to pristine sandy beaches and diverse outdoor attractions.
Days 6-7 Martha’s Vineyard to Newport
After breakfast, take a high-speed catamaran to the island of Nantucket. On day seven, visit the Breakers, the grandest of Newport's summer cottages before boarding the Adirondack II, an 80-ft schooner for a cruise of the coastline.
Day 8 Newport to Boston
You will be transferred back to Boston today where your tour comes to an end.
