Itinerary
Days 1-2 Riyadh
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. The following day explore Riyadh by foot, visiting traditional souks, a local bakery and diverse neighbourhoods.
Day 3 Riyadh to Buraidah
Travel a short distance outside of Riyadh and visit Ushaiqer Heritage Village, a charming historic area before continuing on to Buraidah.
Day 4 Buraidah to Ha’il
Explore the dusty outskirts of Buraidah, home to the world’s largest camel market, before driving to Ha’il and the town’s impressive A’arif fortress.
Days 5-6 Ha’il to AlUla
After visiting the oasis of Jubbah, journey on to AlUla. Later, visit Elephant Rock an instantly recognisable geological feature that takes its name from its elephantine shape. Start day 6 with a stop at the Lion Tombs of Dadan before continuing on to the ancient Nabataean city of Hegra.
Day 7 AlUla
This morning weave through the tightly packed streets of AlUla’s Old Town and explore the souk and its hand-made crafts. Later, opt for a magnificent stargazing trip to end the day.
Day 8 AlUla to Medina
Drive south through the desert to the holy city of Medina. On arrival visit Archer’s Hill, an important battle site in Islamic history, before enjoying a meal with a local Saudi family this evening.
Day 9 Medina to Yanbu
Head to the ancient Red Sea port town of Yanbu for some time on the coast. Later, enjoy snorkelling opportunities on the famous coral reefs.
Days 10-11 Yanbu to Al Bahah
This morning, journey to Al Bahah, a mist covered city surrounded by lush forests located at approximately 2,200m altitude. Spend the following day exploring the 600 year old marble village of Thee Ain and absorbing the dramatic mountain scenery on a 4WD drive.
Days 12–14 Al Bahah to Jeddah
Journey to the coastal city of Jeddah. Visit the UNESCO listed old town of Al Balad, famous for colourful wooden doors and intricately carved window coverings. On your final evening, enjoy a farewell meal with your group before your tour comes to an end the following morning.
