Itinerary
Days 1-2 Havana
Take an arrival transfer into Havana and explore the city at your leisure before joining your fellow travellers this evening for a welcome meeting. On day 2, tour the city by vintage car and perhaps visit a museum or cabaret performance in the evening.
Day 3 Havana to Sancti Spiritus
Travel to Sancti Spiritus today and enjoy an orientation walk of this beautiful, but often overlooked, colonial city.
Day 4 Sancti Spiritus to Bayamo
Continue east to Bayamo for a free afternoon in the cradle of the Cuban Revolution. You may wish to take a horse and cart ride or simply people watch in the Plaza de la Revolucion.
Days 5-7 Bayamo to Baracoa
Arrive at Baracoa for a three night stay where there’s time to hike near El Yunque and relax at the breathtaking beaches which the area is famous for.
Day 8 Baracoa to Santiago De Cuba
Enjoy the rugged coastal views en route to Santiago de Cuba and take an orientation walk on arrival.
Day 9 Santiago De Cuba to Sierra Maestra NP
The Sierra Maestra National Park is one of Cuba’s gems. Stay the night deep inside the park in a quaint wooden cabin next to the Yara River.
Day 10 Sierra Maestra NP to Camaguey
Begin the day with an invigorating hike in the national park and learn of the area’s revolutionary history. Arrive into Camaguey in the afternoon for some free time to explore.
Days 11-12 Camaguey to Trinidad
Travel to Trinidad for a two night stay and a salsa lesson. There’s plenty of time at leisure to fully explore this beautiful city.
Day 13 Trinidad to Cienfuegos
Cienfuegos is a lovely coastal town. Learn about the area on a guided walking tour.
Days 14-15 Cienfuegos to Havana
Visit the Bay of Pigs en route to colourful Havana before your trip ends on the morning of day 15.
