Itinerary
Days 1-2 Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to your hotel. After breakfast on day 2, travel to Kanchanaburi to learn about the Burma Railway, then visit the nearby War Cemetery.
Day 3 Kanchanaburi to Ayutthaya
This morning, hike into the lush Erawan National Park, located in the mist-shrouded Tenasserim Hills. Take a dip in the turquoise pools of the Erawan Falls then transfer to the medieval kingdom of Ayutthaya to sample traditional Thai dishes during dinner.
Day 4 Ayutthaya to Chiang Mai
Set out to explore the Ayutthaya Historical Park, formerly one of the largest and most cosmopolitan regions in the world. Stroll down well-planned city streets to view magnificent palaces and Buddhist monasteries. Later, return to Bangkok and fly to Chiang Mai.
Days 5-6 Chiang Mai
Visit the local markets with a chef to select ingredients for a Thai cooking class. Enjoy your creation at lunch then clear your mind while listening to the chanting of monks at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Day 6 is free to explore further.
Days 7-8 Chiang Mai to Bangkok
Fly back to Bangkok and board a traditional klong boat for a ride along the city’s winding canals before a visit to Wat Pho, Bangkok’s largest and oldest temple complex. Enjoy day 8 at your own pace.
Days 9-10 Bangkok to Koh Samui
Catch a flight to the tropical island of Koh Samui, bordered by the sapphire waters off Thailand’s southeast coast. On day 10 travel by longtail boat to the pristine islands of Ko Mat Sum and Ko Taen to explore green-shrouded cliffs and tranquil lagoons.
Days 11-12 Koh Samui to Khao Sok
Travel by ferry to the mainland to visit Kao Thep Pitak, a community-owned farm supported by G Adventures. Enjoy a lunch of local specialties and take a stroll through the surrounding fruit orchards. Continue to Khao Sok National Park, to enjoy a night time walk with a community guide, and a full day to explore at leisure.
Days 13-14 Khao Sok to Krabi
Continue to Krabi to view prehistoric paintings and fascinating rock formations. Later, head to Koh Klang Island to explore the local communities and traditional industries. Day 14 is free to relax at your hotel or explore at leisure.
Day 15 Krabi to Bangkok
This morning fly to Bangkok where your tour concludes.
