Itinerary

Day 1  Bangkok, Thailand  
Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to your hotel.  

Day 2  Bangkok to Ayutthaya  
Transfer to Ayutthaya, the heart of Thailand’s ancient kingdom. Discover the enormous temples and shrine towers on a warm up ride around this fascinating site.  

Day 3  Ayutthaya to Kabin Buri  
Continue travelling through rural landscapes including rubber and eucalyptus plantations on this mostly flat route. When the roads get busier, drive the short distance to Kabin Buri.  

Day 4  Kabin Buri to Aranyaprathet  
Enjoy a quiet ride through remote villages and scenic countryside. Stop by a reservoir for a refreshing swim, before continuing towards the Cambodian border.

Day 5  Aranyaprathet to Siem Reap, Cambodia  
Travel to Siem Reap. This afternoon, cycle past Wat Athvea a modern temple in the grounds of the ruins of an Angkorian temple.

Days 6-7  Siem Reap  
Explore the fascinating temple complex of Angkor including Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, the Bayon and Banteay Srei by bike and bus.  

Day 8  Siem Reap to Phnom Penh  
En route to Phnom Penh today, visit the impressive monuments of Sambor Prei  Kuk before enjoying a traditional Khmer lunch. Arrive in the Cambodian capital in the late afternoon, the perfect time for a sundowner on the Mekong.  

Day 9  Phnom Penh  
Visit the Genocide Museum within a former Khmer Rouge prison. Learn about the infamous events that took place during the civil war before visiting the notorious Killing Fields.  

Day 10  Phnom Penh to Chau Doc, Vietnam  
Transfer to the town of Takeo where the roads are quieter. Cycle the final section to the Vietnam border.  

Day 11  Chau Doc to Vinh Long  
Cycle the lovely and quiet back roads lined with small villages towards Vinh Long and the Mekong Delta, where you’ll overnight at a homestay on an island.  

Day 12  Vinh Long to Ho Chi Minh City
Journey along the Mekong Delta visiting a floating market and local cottage industries, before boarding the bus and heading for the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City.  

Day 13  Ho Chi Minh City  
Relax and explore this historic city, perhaps take a stroll to the Reunification Palace and the Notre Dame Cathedral or enjoy a short cyclo ride to the War Remnants Museum. Alternatively, take an optional tour to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, located two hours outside the city.  

Day 14  Ho Chi Minh City  
Your tour ends this morning.
