Day 1 Luang Prabang to Sayaboury
Drive to Sayaboury and transfer to the Elephant Conservation Centre. Get settled in your bungalow and then follow your guide for a tour. First observe the heart-warming interactions of the elephants as they play in the river. Once they are ready to return to the forest you will head back to the centre to meet the resident vet and biologist. You can then watch the elephants’ daily bath time and learn more about the playful character of these majestic creatures.
Day 2 Sayaboury to Luang Prabang
Meet the elephants in the forest and take a stroll with them in their natural habitat. After this they are brought to a socialisation area where they can interact in a semi-natural environment. Learn more about the group and its dynamics and see how a new herd is gradually formed. Relax over lunch before transferring back to Luang Prabang.
