Itinerary
Day 1 Denpasar to Labuan Bajo
Fly to Labuan Bajo, a small fishing town on the western tip of the island of Flores.
Day 2 Komodo National Park
Today you will spend a full day exploring extraordinary Komodo National Park. Depart early and board a speedboat to Rinca Island where you will enjoy a moderate trek with a local ranger. In addition to magnificent Komodo dragons, you might spot monkeys, buffalo, wild pigs and a variety of other wildlife which inhabit the island. Journey onwards to Padar Island to embark on a short hike to witness a spectacular panorama. Continue to Komodo Island for a guided trek where you will learn about Komodo dragons and life on this fascinating island. Keep your eyes peeled for these magical creatures as well as the other unusual flora and fauna. Enjoy lunch on board, before heading to Pink Beach, named after it’s slight pink glare formed by microscopic red organisms. Boasting crystal clear waters and a shallow reef, opt to go for a refreshing dip or a spot of snorkelling. Make a stop at Manta Point where you will have a further opportunity to swim or snorkel before returning to Labuan Bajo.
Day 3 Labuan Bajo to Denpasar
After breakfast transfer back to Labuan Bajo for your flight to Denpasar.
