Itinerary
Days 1-2 Ubud, Bali
Arrive in Ubud at any time and explore the cultural hub of Bali. Day two is a gentle warm up day, with a loop of the surrounding countryside where you will see rice paddies, villages and temples.
Day 3 Ubud to Kinamani
The day starts with a steady climb through plantations towards the crater rim of Batur Vocano. After lunch, enjoy a thrilling descent through the lava fields.
Day 4 Kinamani to Bedugul
An undulating day through local villages and plantations observing the everyday life of the locals.
Day 5 Bedugul to Pemuteran
A full day of cycling and sightseeing with challenging climbs, fast downhills, hot springs, spectacular coastlines and a wonderful visit to Bali's only Buddhist monastery. The day ends perfectly with some time on the beach.
Day 6 Pemuteran to Bondowoso, Java
Cycle to the harbour and board a local ferry to Menjangan Island. The snorkelling here is incredible, as the warm water of the Indian Ocean meets the cooler water of the Pacific. After lunch, catch the ferry to mainland Java and transfer to the hotel.
Day 7 Bondowoso to Ijen Volcano campsite
The toughest, yet arguably the most rewarding day of the trip, gaining around 1500m whilst enjoying the scenery before spending the night in a homestay located on a coffee plantation.
Day 8 Ijen Volcano to Ketapang
An early start, with a trek to the crater rim for a spectacular sunrise where sweeping vistas await. Afterwards, descend to the bottom of the volcano to Ketapang where you can relax for the rest of the day.
Day 9 Ketapang to Rajewesi Beach
After a morning transfer, ride a jungle trail through the rainforest before reaching cacao & rubber plantations, ending up at Rajewesi Beach. This fishing village is the gateway to Meru Betiri National Park.
Day 10 Rajewesi Beach to Pulau Merah
The final cycling day explores the jungle and visits some tucked away beaches, before arriving at the accommodation for the evening.
Day 11 Pulau Merah to Canggu, Bali
After all the cycling, this transfer day takes you back to Bali where you can take it easy and watch the world go by without pedalling.
Days 12-13 Canggu
A free day to rest the legs or explore the beautiful area. Your tour comes to an end after breakfast on day 13.
