Itinerary
Day 1 Phnom Penh
Arrive in Phnom Penh and enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure.
Day 2 Phnom Penh
Embark on a guided tour of the infamous Killing Fields at Choeung Ek and Tuol Sleng, the notorious Khmer Rouge prison. The afternoon is free to explore the city, perhaps visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda.
Day 3 Phnom Penh to Battambang
Travel to Battambang, arriving in the afternoon. There’s time to explore this riverside city before dinner.
Day 4 Battambang to Siem Reap
Spend the morning on an optional motorcycle tour of the surrounding countryside, temples and the unique Bamboo Train before heading to the ancient seat of the Khmer Empire, Siem Reap.
Days 5-6 Siem Reap
Rise early to watch the sunrise over the magnificent Angkor Wat temple. Enjoy a guided tour of Ta Prohm, the setting for the Tomb Raider film and the enigmatic faces of Bayon. Day 6 is free to explore Siem Reap.
Day 7 Siem Reap to Kratie
This morning, drive to Kratie, located on the banks of the mighty Mekong River. This afternoon, head out on the Mekong with the local boatmen in search of the endangered Irrawaddy freshwater dolphin.
Day 8 Kratie to Kampong Cham
Depart Kratie and head to Kampong Cham. En route, visit the Bridge of Jayavarman VII and a silk farm. On arrival at Kampong Cham, choose to hire a bike and cycle along the banks of the river.
Days 9-10 Kampong Cham to Kampot
Journey into rural Cambodia to the picturesque riverside town of Kampot, home of Bokor National Park. Visit Rabbit Island, sample the local Kampot peppers or enjoy a seafood feast in Kep. Day 10 is free to relax and explore Kampot.
Days 11-12 Kampot to Koh Rong
Transfer to Sihanoukville then take a boat ride to your own private beach on Koh Rong. Check in and go for a swim in the warm waves before relaxing with a drink on the beach. Day 12 is free to swim, relax by the beach or opt to go snorkelling, fishing, hiking or kayaking.
Day 13 Kampot to Phnom Penh
Travel back to Phnom Penh and discover the city on a cyclo tour. The evening is free to enjoy one last night out with your fellow travellers.
Day 14 Phnom Penh
Your tour ends after breakfast this morning.
