Itinerary
Day 1 Lima
Welcome to Lima. This morning marvel at impressively decorated churches and an underground tunnel cemetery. There is so much to see as you stroll the streets of Lima enjoying its bohemian ambience. End the day with a delicious ceviche dinner in the company of your fellow travellers.
Day 2 Lima to Arequipa
From one dazzling city to the next, board a flight to the 'White City' of Arequipa where you’ll be swept off your feet by the city’s remarkable historic sights and flavoursome cuisine.
Day 3 Arequipa to Colca Canyon
Stop by Salinas and Aguada Blanco national reserve en route to one of the world’s deepest canyons. Journey through the windswept landscapes, before arriving in the awe-inspiring Colca Canyon.
Day 4 Colca Canyon to Puno
Rise early and head out in search of striking Andean condors. Drive through quaint villages to Puno, sat on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
Day 5 Puno
Today you’ll get a taste for traditional Peruvian life as you board a boat across Lake Titicaca to Taquile Island. After lunch, explore the floating Uros Islands, meet the local community and visit a fish farm.
Day 6 Puno to Cusco
Travel to Cusco today, visiting the Incan ruins at Raqchi and their famous sacred waters.
Day 7 Cusco
Roam the cobbled streets of Cusco shopping for artisan jewellery and woodworks, perhaps stop at the San Pedro markets for tasty cacao buds.
Day 8 Cusco to Sacred Valley
En route to the Sacred Valley, stop off at a llama farm and visit local artisans to learn the ancient art of weaving. Later, upon arrival in the Sacred Valley, head out on a guided tour to discover the Pisac and Ollantaytambo ruins.
Day 9 Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes
Embark on an epic 3 hour trek through the enchanting sites of the Inca Trail. Later, head to Aguas Calientes by train, a charming town known as the gateway to Machu Picchu.
Day 10 Aguas Calientes to Cusco
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Machu Picchu on a guided tour, before boarding the train back to Cusco.
Day 11 Cusco
Your tour come to an end today.
