Itinerary
Day 1 Lima, Peru
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Lima, Peru
Discover the highlights of Peru's vibrant capital on a guided tour.
Day 3 Lima to Amazon Rainforest
Fly to Puerto Maldonado in the Amazon Rainforest and transfer to your lodge by boat.
Days 4-5 Amazon Rainforest
Experience the Peruvian Amazon with two days of sightseeing from your lodge. Navigate the treetops on a canopy walkway, glide across lakes in a canoe and venture out after dark on a night walk.
Day 6 Amazon Rainforest to the Sacred Valley
Return to Puerto Maldonado before flying to Cusco. On arrival transfer to your hotel in the enchanting Sacred Valley.
Day 7 Sacred Valley
Enjoy a full day tour to shop for handicrafts in the markets of Pisac before exploring the impressive Inca fortress at Ollantaytambo.
Day 8 Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu
Take a scenic train journey to Aguas Calientes at the foot of Machu Picchu and join a guided tour around these magical ruins.
Day 9 Machu Picchu to Cusco
Return to further explore the ‘Lost City of the Incas’ again before journeying back to Cusco by train and road.
Day 10 Cusco
Discover the sights of Cusco on a guided tour. Visit the Plaza de Armas, Santo Domingo Church and the ruined fortress of Sacsayhuamán.
Day 11 Cusco to Lake Titicaca
Marvel at the changing landscape as you travel to Puno on the shores of vast Lake Titicaca.
Day 12 Lake Titicaca
Visit a rural community to learn about the lives of the local people then cruise to Taquile Island and the floating Uros Islands.
Day 13 Lake Titicaca, Bolivia
Drive to Copacabana on the Bolivian side of dazzling Lake Titicaca. From here cruise to the beautiful Isla del Sol (Sun Island). Stay overnight to enjoy the spectacular views and Inca history.
Day 14 Lake Titicaca to La Paz
After a morning at leisure, cruise to Moon Island then Huatajata to learn about local culture en route to La Paz.
Day 15 La Paz
Visit the mysterious Witches’ Market and the otherworldly Moon Valley on a half day tour.
Day 16 La Paz to Salar de Uyuni
Take an early flight to Uyuni and spend the day exploring the breathtaking Salar de Uyuni, its islands and lagoons before heading to your hotel, made entirely of salt.
Day 17 Salar de Uyuni
Tour the wetlands and coloured volcanic lakes around the remote town of Tomave, looking out for llamas, alpacas and flamingos.
Day 18 Salar de Uyuni to La Paz
Fly back to La Paz for a last free afternoon in Bolivia.
Day 19 La Paz
Transfer to the airport.
