Southern Patagonian Ice Field Cruise with Skorpios

Day 1  Puerto Natales
Arrive in Puerto Natales  and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2  Cruise embarkation
Transfer to the port and board MV Skorpios III. Begin your journey with a cruise through the picturesque Almirante Montt Gulf. At Guadramiro Fjord you’ll head out in small excursion boats to get a closer look at a colony of elephant seals.

Day 3  Guillard Glacier & Amalia Glacier
Cruise through the Pitt Channel passing Chatham Island to take a walk at the base of the imposing Guillard Glacier. Continue to the Amalia Glacier. Set in the central part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, this wide glacier features a volcano rising from the middle of its ice mass.

Day 4  El Brujo Glacier & Calvo Fjord
Weather permitting, take small boats to view the enormous El Brujo Glacier from atop a rocky outcrop. In the afternoon navigate through the icy waters of Calvo Fjord to view its three glaciers.

Day 5  Montañas Fjord
Enjoy the startling contrasts of the Alsina Glacier from the waters. Later take a short hike through a forest to reach the front of Bernal Glacier. Return to the ship for a farewell party.

Day 6  Puerto Natales  
Disembark in Puerto Natales and transfer to the airport.
