Bolivia Highlights

Day 1  La Paz      
Arrive in La Paz and make your own way  to your hotel.      

Day 2 La Paz to Uyuni  
Rise early and begin your journey to Salar de Uyuni where you’ll begin your three day 4WD excursion into the remarkable Andean desert.      

Days 3-5 Salar de Uyuni  
Spend time taking unique photos on the salt lake, view abundant wildlife at Laguna Colorada and see the captivating Sol de Manan geysers with a chance to relax in natural hot springs. Look out for llamas and flamingos that have made their home in this inhospitable environment.  

Day 6  Uyuni to Potosí      
Journey by local bus to Potosí, a colonial city whose wealth came from a huge silver mine. At over 4,000m, Potosí is one of the highest cities in the world.      

Day 7  Potosí to Sucre      
Take a local bus through the temperate valleys of Chuquisaca to Sucre, Bolivia’s official capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.    

Days 8-9  Sucre  
On the morning of day 8, discover Sucre during an orientation walk before heading out the next day to hike part of the Chataquila trek. Enjoy stunning Andean views before an afternoon back in the city where you can explore at your own leisure.    

Day 10  Sucre to La Paz      
Take a short flight back to La Paz with free time to explore more of the city. Enjoy some local cuisine as you celebrate your time in Bolivia.    

Day 11  La Paz      
Say farewell to your fellow travellers as your tour comes to an end.
