Argentina & Brazil Adventure

Day 1  Buenos Aires, Argentina      
Arrive in Buenos Aires and make your way to the hotel to meet with your fellow travellers.        

Day 2  Buenos Aires      
Embark on an orientation walk through this fantastic city to visit the Teatro Colon, El Obelisco and Plaza de Mayo.        

Day 3  Buenos Aires to Iberá Wetlands      
Enjoy a free morning in Buenos Aires before catching a short flight to Posadas and then transferring to Ituzaingo, deep  in the Iberá Wetlands.

Day 4  Iberá Wetlands      
Venture on a full day safari with your guide. The wetlands are rich in swamps, lakes and lagoons to explore for creatures such as otters, alligators, howler monkeys and the elusive capybaras.        

Day 5  Iberá Wetlands to Iguassu Falls, Brazil      
Prepare for a long travel day as you board a local bus from Posada and cross the border into Brazil at Puerto Iguazú, the gateway  to one of the most spectacular waterfalls  in the world.        

Days 6-7  Iguassu Falls
Explore the Brazilian side of the falls and admire the remarkable panoramic views. On day 7, head to the Argentine side where you’ll follow a series of boardwalks to get up close to the thundering waters. In the afternoon, visit a local Guarani community for an insight into the region’s indigenous people.        

Day 8  Iguassu Falls to Rio de Janeiro      
This morning, fly to the festive heart  of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. Set out on an orientation walk with your guide before enjoying free time to explore this fabulous city.  

Day 9  Rio de Janeiro    
After a relaxing morning at leisure, meet the group for an afternoon tour of the city’s icons including Christ the Redeemer and Santa Teresa.  

Day 10  Rio de Janeiro    
Your adventure comes to an end this morning.
