Itinerary
Day 1 Port Denarau to Modriki Island
Set sail aboard the MV Fiji Princess for this magical 8-day cruise. Anchor at beautiful Monu Island and take a dip in the calm waters before the Captain’s Welcome Dinner this evening.
Day 2 Modriki Island to Soso Bay
Cruise to a secluded reef for an opportunity to snorkel with reef sharks. Later, choose to attend the chiefly village of Soso where you will be welcomed with a traditional kava ceremony. This afternoon, choose from a local school visit, snorkeling or kayaking.
Day 3 Soso Bay to Naukacuvu
Visit an atmospheric village church service this morning before joining the chef back on board for a Fijian cooking lesson. After lunch, choose from a shore excursion to climb the highest peak in the area or kick back and relax on board.
Day 4 Naukacuvu Island to Yalobi Bay
Set sail from Naukacuvu Island and cruise through the beautiful reefs of the central lagoon towards The Sacred Islands. Take a picnic lunch ashore and relax on the beach with a cool drink before continuing to Yalobi Bay for the night.
Day 5 Yalobi Bay to Blue Lagoon
Sail towards the famed Blue Lagoon and make a stop at Blue Lagoon Cruises’ private island. Relax and enjoy the scenery before a traditional ‘lovo’ meal on the beach.
Day 6 Blue Lagoon to Sawa-I-Lau
Continue to relax by the beach or take in one of the optional activities, which include swimming, snorkelling or a guided walk. After lunch, heath north to Sawa-I-Lau for a guided tour of the local caves and an evening visit to the local village of Tamasua for a traditional feast.
Day 7 Sawa-I-Lau to Drawaqa Island
Sail onward and choose to attend a fascinating talk from a marine biologist on the conservation work taking place in the area. Depending on weather conditions, there may be a chance to snorkel or scuba dive (additional cost). A barbecue dinner on the upper deck of the ship rounds off a great day.
Day 8 Drawaqa Island to Port Denarau
Enjoy breakfast on board before sailing back to Port Denarau for a mid-morning arrival.
