Enjoy a morning trip to Bundala National Park, a UNESCO designated biosphere reserve and an internationally important wintering ground for migratory birds. Depart around 07:00 with a packed breakfast from your hotel for the 1 hour drive from Yala to Bundala. At the entrance you will transfer to a jeep for your 3 hour drive around the national park. The waterways, lagoons and dunes of the park are home to thousands of colourful bird, a small population of elephants, plus giant squirrels and lots of crocodiles. A few pairs of binoculars are available to hire locally, however we suggest you bring your own binoculars for this tour.
