Itinerary

Days 1-2 Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. On day 2 you will receive a morning briefing to ensure everyone is prepared for the trip ahead and then head out on a walking tour to experience the bazaar and temples of old Kathmandu.

Day 3 Kathmandu to Kurintar
After departing Kathmandu by bus, thrill seekers will have the opportunity to join a White Water Rafting excursion to your destination in Kurintar. Alternatively you can opt to drive the whole way and spend the afternoon relaxing by the hotel pool.

Day 4 Kurintar to Badauri
Head to the relaxed town of Pokhara and enjoy the beautiful views across to the lake and incredible views of the snowcapped Annapurna mountains. Walk through small settlements and farmlands between Kande and the village of Badauri.

Day 5 Badauri to Panchase Bhanjyang
Begin your day by walking to Panchase Danda, the high point of the trek, where you will be able to take in panoramic views of all the Annapurna peaks. From here you descend to Panchase Bhanjyang where you will have views of Pokhara and Phewa Tal.

Day 6 Panchase Bhanjyang to Bumdi
Today pass through remote and less travelled regions, journeying through forest and spotting grazing Water Buffalos in meadows before descending to your overnight stop in Bumdi.

Days 7-8 Bumdi to Pokhara
Depart Bumdi for more inhabited areas as you pass the chhettri village of Pumdi to reach the white dome of the Japanese Peace Pagoda then descend to Pokhara, your home for the next two nights. Day 8 is at leisure to perhaps visit Tashiling, a thriving village of Tibetan refugees with its own schools and monastery, or even hire a boat to visit a small temple on an island in Phewa Tal.

Days 9-10 Pokhara to Chitwan National Park
Embark to the Terai region where you will spend the next two nights staying near the Chitwan National Park, home to a wealth of wildlife. The days will be free to spot the local creatures, including the rare One Horned Rhino, via safari drives, nature walks and even floating along the Rapti River in a traditional dugout canoe.

Days 11-12 Chitwan National Park to Kathmandu
Say goodbye to this region as you start the journey back to Kathmandu for your last two nights. Here you will have time at your leisure to enjoy a final explore of this exciting city with options such as visiting the historic village of Bhaktapur or meeting the resident Monkeys of the Swayambunath stupa.

Day 13 Kathmandu
Transfer back to the airport to catch your flight home.

Departs: Selected departures, Mar & Oct - Dec.
