Discover Nepal

Days 1-2  Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu, the busy and colourful capital city of Nepal. On day 2 take a walking tour around the bazaar and the Durbar Square before visiting the holiest Hindu shrine in Nepal, the Temple of Pashupatinath and Boudhanath, the largest stupa.

Day 3  Kathmandu to Nagarkot
Spend the morning in Bhaktapur, home to many intricate stone and wooden carvings. Later, journey on to Nagarkot in time for sunset, positioned on the Kathmandu Valley rim, it is sure to impress.

Day 4  Nagarkot
Start early to catch a stunning sunrise before taking a walk to a nearby hilltop for spectacular views over the Himalayas. Later, take a short walk to neighbouring farms situated under the backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks.

Day 5  Nagarkot to Kurintar
This morning drive out of the Kathmandu Valley and take in amazing views of the Ganesh, Manaslu and Annapurna ranges before arriving in Kurintar. En route you have the option to try out rafting.

Day 6  Gorkha
Travel through local villages to Gorkha, the small town which gave the feared Gurkha soldiers their name.

Days 7-8  Kurintar to Pokhara
Start your day with an optional visit to the nearby Manakamana Temple by cable car before continuing to Pokhara, situated beside Lake Phewa. On the morning of day 8 take a scenic walk to the World Peace Pagoda for impressive Annapurna views, before spending the afternoon at leisure.

Day 9  Pokhara
Visit the Mountain Museum en route to the Tibetan refugee settlement at Tashiling, where you can watch the villagers producing Tibetan carpets and visit the Buddhist monastery.

Day 10  Pokhara to Bandipur
Take a short drive to the hilltop town of Bandipur and explore its traditional bazaar and small temples.  

Days 11-12  Bandipur to Chitwan NP
Today you will drive to Chitwan, once a private hunting ground and now a national park, where thick tree cover and tall elephant grass shelters a wealth of animals. During your stay enjoy many activities, including jeep safaris in search of onehorned rhino, bird-watching, jungle walks and canoe trips along the Rapti River.

Days 13-15  Chitwan NP to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu. Day 14 is free for you to explore the city, perhaps visit Swayambunath Stupa, also known as the ‘Monkey Temple’ or take a trip to Patan, the ‘city of beauty’, to discover the finest collection of temples and palaces in the entire country. Your trip comes to an end after breakfast on day 15.
