Itinerary
Day 1 Delhi
Arrive into Delhi and transfer to your hotel. This evening, meet your fellow travellers for a welcome meeting.
Day 2 Delhi
Explore one of the world's most hustling, bustling and all out crazy cities today with a local guide. Learn the stories of Old Delhi as you take in the sights and hop on a rickshaw to explore the back streets. After tasting some local delicacies for lunch, the afternoon is free for you to continue your exploration.
Day 3 Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, head to the city of Agra. Meet with a local guide to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Agra Fort and the world famous Taj Mahal. You ticket allows access to both and with plenty of time to explore, discover the romance story behind this iconic wonder.
Day 4 Agra to Ranthambore
Depart early for the calm of Ranthambore National Park, one of the largest and most renowned national parks in Northern India. After lunch, head to the Dhonk Craft Centre which is home to beautiful creations made by the local women who were previously employed as tiger poaches before enjoying dinner overlooking the wild setting of the park.
Day 5 Ranthambore to Jaipur
Why not spend the morning in search of the elusive tiger on a safari through their natural habitat and catch an incredible sunrise over the wild, all before breakfast? Later, head to the old and new, colour and chaos, camels and rickshaws of Jaipur. Spend the afternoon at lesiure to perhaps get some custom clothes made or to simply relax at the hotl. Dinner this evening is on the hotels rooftop bar so get ready for some incredible views!
Day 6 Jaipur
Explore the city your way after some helpful tips from your trip manager today. For those looking for the history of India, then head to Amber Fort as this has architectural influences from both Hindu and Muslim reigns as well as multiple palaces, pavilions and temples.
Day 7 Jaipur to Udaipur
The lush green hills and lavish marble palaces of Udaipur are calling - jump on board the coach and travel cross country to this stunning city. Sit back, relax and gaze in wonder as the landscape changes from flat dry lands to gorgeous green and prepare yourself for an entirely different aspect of India.
Day 8 Udaipur
Udaipur's colonial architecture and shimmering lakes give the city a distinctly Venetian, romantic feel unmatched arguably in the whole of India. With a local guide, explore the majestic City Palace and the Jagdish Temple before spending the rest of the day at leisure. Perhaps board a tranquil boat ride or visit the bustling bazaars.
Day 9 Udaipur to Mumbai
With some free time in Udaipur this morning, you'll have a chance to say your goodbyes to the land of lakes. This afternoon, catch a flight to the Fast, furious and fantastic city of Mumbai for a completely unparalleled sensory overload. This afternoon you'll have a chance to experience the city with an optional Khau Gully Food Tour, an ode to the street food of Mumbai. From Pav Bhaji and Vada Pav to tea at a century-old Irani cafe, this is one delicious way to discover Mumbai's history.
Day 10 Mumbai
Rise with the locals for our optional Mumbai at dawn tour to watch the city as it starts its day. After breakfast, we’ll then get out and amongst it. Our Local Guide will take us on a sightseeing tour of Mumbai, including the famous India Gate, the serene Hanging Gardens and the Dhobi Ghat, a massive human-powered laundromat with 1026 open-air troughs. Tonight, you'll have the option to hit the dancefloor Bollywood style, with a dance class to learn some of the sweet moves that Bollywood is famous for.
Day 11 Mumbai to Goa
For a different perspective of Mumbai, perhaps join an optional dawn city tour before heading to the airport for your flight to golden Goa. With sunshine, spirituality, tropical palms, golden stretches of beach and a happy laid-back charm, Goa is the ideal location for some beach time.
Day 12 Goa
After breakfast your tour comes to an end.
