Itinerary
Day 1 Delhi
Arrive into Delhi and transfer to your hotel. This evening, you''ll be fitted for your bike and you'll meet your fellow travellers and tour leader.
Day 2 Delhi to Jodhpur
Cycle this morning to acclimatise to the Indian weather and city traffic. After breakfast, head out on a bus tour of Old and New Delhi before boarding an overnight train to Jodhpur.
Day 3 Jodhpur
Arrive this morning and have some free time to relax or explore the surrounding area of the hotel. This afternoon, start the climb up to Meherangarh Fort for a great view of the blue painted houses below.
Day 4 Jodhpur to Udaipur
Start today by transferring via road to Ranakpur, where you visit the the Jain Temple. Afterwards, cycle through the Aravalli hills before transferring by bus to Udaipur, known as the 'The Pearl of Rajasthan'.
Day 5 Udaipur
Spend today exploring the countryside around Udaipur to Tiger Lake. After lunch, cycle back to the city to visit the impressive City Palace.
Day 6 Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh
Cycle through rural India today as you head to the fort of Kumbhalgarh, with time to appreciate the lovely temple and its panoramic views.
Day 7 Kumbhalgarh to Pushkar
Enjoy a combination of cycling and bus journeys as you make your way through the desert landscapes to Pushkar.
Day 8 Pushkar to Jaipur
Leave Pushkar behind and cycle through back roads and rural villages to Jaipur, the impressive capital of Rajasthan.
Day 9 Jaipur
Explore the Pink City of Jaipur, one of the most attractive and colourful cities in India. Visit the Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal and the splendid Palace of the Winds rising above a lake.
Day 10 Jaipur to Sariska NP
Combine both cycling and transfers today as you leave Jaipur behind and travel through rural India to Sariska National Park.
Day 11 Sariska NP
Search for leopard, wild boar, hyena and jungle cat, as well as a large variety of bird species on a morning game drive. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure with options including a cyclr ride around Siliseth Lake or relax in the gardens and swimming pool at your hotel.
Day 12 Sariska NP to Bharatpur NP
Back on your bike for a morning cycle, before transferring to Bharatpur National Park, home to a renowned bird sanctuary. Enjoy a further ride and try to spot some of the 360 species of birds which can be found here.
Day 13 Bharatpur NP to Agra
Leave Bharatpur and cycle to Fatehpur Sikri, the Emperor Akbar’s deserted royal city. Walk around this impressive and well-preserved citadel. Transfer onto Agra to arrive at the stunning Taj Mahal in time for sunset. Watch as this impressive marble temple changes colour as the sun leaves the sky.
Day 14 Agra to Delhi
Visit the imposing Agra Fort of Akbar this morning, before transferring by bus to Delhi in time for dinner.
Day 15 Delhi
After breakfast your tour of this fascinating region comes to an end.
