Magical Switzerland

Day 1  Lucerne        
Arrive into Zurich airport where you’ll be transferred onto Lucerne. This evening join your fellow travellers and travel director for a welcome dinner.        

Days 2-3  Lucerne to St. Moritz  
Take a tour of 14^th Century Lucerne, discovering covered wooden bridges, the painted gables and the sorrowful Lion Monument. Head to the fashionable ski resort of St. Moritz, passing Chur and Walensee en route. Spend day three at leisure.        

Day 4  St. Moritz to Grindelwald  
Board the world famous Glacier Express for a spectacular journey through the heart of the Swiss Alps. Descend through the tunnels of the Albula Pass and traverse the lofty Landwasser Viaduct. Your train then joins the broad Rhine Gorge before climbing to the highest point of the ride, the Operalp pass. Modern, panoramic viewing cars ensure that you won’t miss a thing on your descent to Andermatt where you rejoin the coach. Drive through the dramatic Schöllenen Gorge passing the Devil's Bridge. Marvel at the Wetterhorn Peaks as you travel along the Grindelwald Valley.  

Day 5  Grindelwald    
Enjoy a day at your leisure to explore Grindelwald further.  

Day 6  Grindelwald to Geneva        
Journey to the shores of Lake Geneva where you’ll visit beautiful Chillon Castle, and stroll the lakeside promenade of tiered Montreux. On arrival in Geneva, enjoy a tour of the United Nations Building, the Old Town and Reformation Monument. Later, attend a celebration dinner with your newfound friends.        

Day 7  Geneva  
After breakfast, depart anytime.
