Itinerary
Day 1 Warsaw
Arrive into Warsaw, the capital and largest city in Poland. Based on the banks of the River Vistula, when you look back at the city the stark contrast of the quaint red roofs of the Old Town against modern skyscrapers will blend harmoniously together.
Days 2-3 Warsaw
Use your Hop on Hop off bus pass to navigate fascinating Warsaw, a city rebuilt from its turbulent past. Take a stroll through the historic Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and round to Castle Square, the setting of the magnificent red Royal Castle which was home to Polish monarchs. Visit the National Museum and appreciate ancient artwork. Nearby is the beautifully manicured Saxon Garden, the oldest public park in the city, filled with baroque statues and an ornamental lake. Finish your sightseeing with a visit to the Lazienki Palaces and Gardens, also known as the Palace on the Isle, a stunning neoclassical style building located on the waterfront. Check out the Chopin Monument, once destroyed in WWII, but has since been restored and is a key landmark in the city’s history. For dinner, why not sample traditional Polish cuisine such as pierogi and zapiekanka?
Day 4 Warsaw
Choose some souvenirs and soak up the last of the city before transferring back to the airport for your return flight.
