Itinerary
Days 1-8 Valletta
Arrive into Valletta, Malta’s charming capital, home to fantastic restaurants and quirky bars making for the perfect foodie adventure. Begin to discover Europe’s Capital of Culture for 2018 as you admire the Baroque architecture all around. With plentiful choice, enjoy dinner at one of the many local restaurants to sample your first taste of stunning Maltese cuisine.
Spend the next week as you wish, exploring this glorious island at your own pace. With a textured history, picturesque countryside and beautiful cuisine, there is plenty to see and do. Wander the streets on The Food and Culture Tour of Malta, seeking out local artisans, crafting traditional food and drinks. Sample an array of hand-crafted Maltese treats and learn more about the island’s food history at every turn.
Perhaps delve deeper into the countryside and visit an array of small villages renowned for their rustic charm and welcoming hospitality. Find olive groves and vineyards and be sure to enjoy a traditional Maltese lunch paired with local wines whilst overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
