Watch the sun set over the waterfront before meandering through Venice’s enchanting myriad of narrow alleyways to your centrally located hotel.

Start at the impressive St Mark’s Basilica, followed by the Gothic-styled Doges Palace, once the seat of the Venetian government. Later, see the centuries-old glass-making process at Murano and stop off at Burano on your return to explore and photograph the island’s brightly coloured streets.
Day 4 Verona
After making your way to Venice train station to board your train, arrive into Verona, a beautiful city in Italy’s Veneto region, oft described as the city of love, thanks to its association with Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Settle into your city centre hotel before enjoying a delicious pizza in one of the charming nearby restaurants.
Day 5 Verona
After a leisurely start to your day, explore the UNESCO World Heritage listed city, starting off at the impressive Roman amphitheatre, overlooking Piazza Bra, which dates to the 1st Century, is the third largest in the world. Put yourself in the shoes of a Roman-era spectator and gain an awesome perspective by climbing up the tiered seating areas of the arena. Later, admire the balcony and statue of Juliet at the gothic ‘Casa di Giulietta’ - said to have inspired Shakespeare.
Day 6 Verona
Start today with a scenic stroll over the grand Ponte Pietro, under which the Adige River flows, before climbing up to the medieval fortress of Castel San Pietro, offering unparalleled views over the rooftops of Verona from its terraces. Reward yourself with an authentic pizza at Piazza delle Erbe, the city’s bustling market square, where you can find a multitude of inviting cafes and restaurants. Afterwards, perhaps pick up a few souvenirs from the artisan market stalls.
Days 7-9 Lake Garda
Arrive to Lake Garda after a scenic train journey through Italy’s lake region. Make the most of the historic charms of the ancient villages surrounding the lake.
