Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Venice
On arrival, meet your local Tour Leader and driver and transfer to Venice Mestre. Check into your accommodation before boarding a train for the short distance to Venice Island. Take in the famous sights – the Grand Canal, the Rialto Bridge, Doge's Palace, Piazza San Marco with its golden Basilica, and of course, the evocative Bridge of Sighs on a guided walking tour of the city.
Day 2 The Museo Correr
Return to Venice today by train for an interactive visit of the Museo Correr. In the afternoon it is time to become an artist yourself! In our mask-decorating course you will learn about traditional techniques for making Venetian masks from paper-mache and get hands-on decorating a hand-crafted Venetian mask of your choice.
The morning can be alternated to a different tour or workshop, just ask your travel consultant.
Day 3 Verona
This morning board your bus and travel to Verona. Here you will meet your local guide where you will visit; Porta Borsari, Piazza Erbe and Piazza dei Signori, Romeo‘s house and Juliet’s tomb. Find a good spot for a picnic before returning to Venice for a final night in Italy.
