Day 2  Thessaloniki
This morning after breakfast, take to the streets to roam the city’s renowned cultural attractions, markets and monuments. Check out the most iconic symbol of Thessaloniki, the White Tower with splendid views at the top, of the city, the sparkling Thermaic Gulf and majestic Mount Olympus. Next, stop by the Archaeological Museum, home to an extensive collection of Greek art & artifacts. In the afternoon, treat yourself to a street food tour to experience the best of authentic Thessaloniki cuisine, recognised for its melding of diverse cultures that have inhabited the city over the millennia.

Day 3  Thessaloniki
After an engaging couple of days, opt to spend the day at leisure, or perhaps schedule some well-deserved downtime to laze in the ethereal thermal baths of Pozar by joining a local day trip tour. Situated at the base of Mount Kaimaktsalan, the supreme setting of this hot spring river means you will be enveloped into an area of striking rock formations, gushing waterfalls and lush flora. Alternatively, if you are feeling adventurous, why not make a day trip to legendary Mount Olympus, home to the 12 gods of Olympus, as well as the highest point in Greece?

This morning, experience the beauty of the Agia Sofia, an awe-inspiring 7th century Byzantine-era church. Be dazzled by the imposing architecture, beautiful wall paintings and elaborate mosaics. From there, walk past the awe-inspiring Arch of Galerius and continue into the world of the Byzantium, by being dazzled by cultural gems within the Museum of Byzantine Civilisation. Eleven galleries of sculptures, icons, artifacts and jewellery make up the significant collection. Afterwards, treat yourself to a sumptuous gyros or souvlaki for lunch in the enchanting Ano Poli old town area, home to charming cobblestone alleys, traditional stone houses and remarkable Ottoman-era monuments.

Day 5  Thessaloniki
