Itinerary

Day 1  Tallinn, Estonia
Arrive in Tallinn and transfer to your hotel. Take time to explore the narrow, cobbled streets that characterise the old town of this lovely city.

Day 2  Tallinn to Lahemaa NP
Transfer by road to Lahemaa National Park, a national gem. Enjoy a relaxing cycle ride through the park and admire the marshes, lakes and lovely coastal landscape. Keep your eyes peeled for moose and wild boar which are occasionally spotted.

Day 3  Lahemaa NP
Lahemaa National Park is one of the biggest in Europe and with its mostly flat trails, is perfect to explore on two wheels. Take a circular route through the park and pass through the 400 year old fishing village of Altja and the popular seaside resort of Vosu. Enjoy the lovely smell of pine cones on this invigorating ride.

Day 4  Lahemaa NP to Tartu
Travel by road to the north shore of Peipsi Lake before jumping on a bike and cycling along the lakeside paths. Ride through historic villages and past churches as far as Varnja before a transfer to Tartu, Estonia’s second largest city.

Day 5  Tartu to Riga, Latvia
This morning’s cycle is a real highlight. The scenery in this area is reminiscent of Switzerland and each hill climb will be rewarded with lovely views. There’ll be plenty of opportunity to rest and sightsee en route, before finally transferring by road to Riga, Latvia’s enigmatic capital city.

Day 6  Jurmala
Following cycle paths, ride to the popular seaside resort of Jurmala, with its pretty wooden architecture and white sandy beaches. Choose to relax or swim in the sea before making your way back to Riga.

Day 7  Riga to Klaipeda, Lithuania
Leaving Latvia behind, cross the border to Lithuania and ride from Sventoji to Klaipeda on Lithuania’s peaceful coast. Along the way, visit Palanga beach and botanical gardens before reaching Klaipeda.

Day 8  Curonian Spit NP
Start your day in the popular village retreat of Nida before exploring the Curonian Spit National Park. This narrow stretch of land is known for its high sand dunes and dense pine forests. The quiet roads and trails are ideal for a leisurely cycle ride, which comes to an end at the ferry port as you make your way back to Klaipeda for the night.

Day 9  Klaipeda to Vilnius
After a bus transfer to Kintai village, ride through lush green forests to Vente Cape and visit the lighthouse. Look out for migrating birds; the area is a popular resting place. Continue onwards to Silute before completing the journey to Vilnius by bus.

Day 10  Trakai
Built in the 14th Century, Trakai Castle is one of the Baltic’s greatest sights. Cycle from Semeliskes to Galve Lake, where you’ll have your first sight of the castle sat atop its own island in the middle of the beautiful lake. Explore the surrounding areas and visit the castle itself, before transferring back to pretty Vilnius.

Day 11  Vilnius
Transfer to Vilnius airport this morning for your flight home.
